    Certified Financial Group, LLC is owned and operated by Northwest Indiana native resident Richard Serletic. Upon graduating from Porter County’s Boone Grove High School, Richard graduated Valparaiso University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. After working in the business world for several years, Richard took his love for mathematics and analytical thinking to the next level and pursued a Post-Baccalaureate certificate in accounting from Indiana University Northwest in Gary. Richard passed the certified public accountant exam in the top 10% in the state and gained experience by working in accounting firms in Merrillville and Munster. In 2004, Richard opened Certified Financial Group, LLC. Since that time, the business has continued to grow and includes clientele from every walk of life. Additionally, Richard is an active community member through his participation with the Valparaiso Noon Kiwanis, in which he serves as the Treasurer. He is also an active member of the Greater Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce. Richard holds membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well.
